Our mission is to ensure students achieve college and career readiness through academic excellence. It is a lofty mission, but the future of our children is at stake. That’s not a responsibility that we take lightly.

Bristol may be a “Good Place to Live,” but it’s a great place to learn! At the district level, we are focused on providing the best educational experience possible for students that will prepare them well for college and career.  One way we are doing that is by pursuing personalized learning through a digital conversion effort that includes providing laptops for students to use at school and at home.  By doing so, we can provide students a learning platform that they can use anytime and anywhere to do relevant activities that are based on their own interests using the same electronic tools that professionals use every day.

Tennessee’s Promise is also an unprecedented opportunity for students who reside in our state.  It is a last-dollar scholarship that ensures students can attend a community college or Tennessee College of Applied Technology absolutely free after high school.

We invite and encourage parents to become active partners with us. By working together to achieve our shared goals, we can foster a culture of education in our community that accepts nothing less than excellence from and for our children.

Let us know if you are thinking of moving to our city and would like to take a tour of our schools. We would love to show you around and tell you more about the great things happening in our district.
