Click here for Aesop contact information Thank you for your interest in substitute teaching for the Bristol Tennessee City Schools system. Qualifications: Substitute teachers with a bachelor's degree or higher will be given priority, but non-college graduates will be eligible for substitute teaching. All substitute teachers shall complete an employment application (see below to download) and satisfactorily complete an interview and orientation.
Documents Required To Begin Substituting 1. Completed substitute teacher application 2. Copy of two identification sources: • Social security card
• Driver's license
• Other picture ID
3. Proof of education - copy of one of the following: • High school or college diploma
• College transcripts
• GED certificate
