Snack
Information
To
practice good nutritional habits and to contribute to being a healthy
person, our class will have a nutritious snack break each morning around
10:00 a.m.
Suggested
Snacks:
fresh fruit
canned fruit
fresh vegetables
yogurt
cheese
100% milk, juice, or water
dry cereal (watch out for dyes and too much sugar)
crackers
pretzels
bagel
popcorn
granola bar
If
your child brings a snack that needs to be kept cold, please send it in
an insulated bag with a cool pack.
Your child can buy
snack from the cafeteria each day.
Snack drink: choice of orange juice or white milk is $.50 (no chocolate
milk will be allowed)
Snack food: choices are available (limited to healthy choices) for $.50
Snack money must
be brought in daily. Money can not be taken from lunch accounts to purchase
snack foods or drinks.

will not be allowed to eat snacks such as chocolate, potato chips, snack
cakes, or any other non-nutritional snacks. Help me get your child started
on the right track by eating healthy.****
