A Message from our Principal, Mr. Tom Parker

Greetings:

Holston View Elementary School's faculty and staff welcome you to the Bristol Tennessee City School System and thank you for visiting Holston View's school via the Internet.

Appreciation is extended to the technology personnel of our school system for making this medium of communication a reality. This homepage represents our teachers, our staff, our parents, but most importantly, our students and the potential of their futures. A special thank you is extended to our PTA and their cooperative efforts to extend our ability to grow in the area of technology through their financial assistance and planning.

The purpose of technology is to increase learning opportunities and give more students the ability to take advantage of the tremendous search potential made available by this communication mode. The sharing of ideas is made more accessible and the communication of information is made extremely rapid as compared to the other modes of communication.

Holston View Elementary School is working extremely hard to stay on the cutting edge of technological implementation and innovation of communication methods. The information delivered to the students via the computer, the print media, and various other means of communication will, in our opinion, help us meet the future by providing the necessary tools for a citizen to function successfully in our changing society.
