Welcome to Leadership Challenge at Tennesse High School...
Leadership Challenge is a new program at Tennessee High School that is designed to provide a comprehensive approach focusing on ethical, social, and intellectual skill development. Mastering the standards enable students to develop personal integrity based on positive values, to learn respect and responsibility, and to learn citizenship in schools and the community. This class uses the service-learning technique, which is a form of experimental learning where students develop knowledge and critical thinking skills while addressing genuine community needs. An important aspect of this class is the hands-on volunteer work conducted. A minimum of 30 hours per student per term is required by the state of Tennessee in order to receive credit for the class. This class is student driven and therefore requires everyone’s participation.

Leadership Challenge can be taken as a 4th period class at THS. Sign up next semester for Leadership Challenge and help your community and school!
