This course gives students an introduction of algebraic concepts and problem solving. In Algebra 1 A students build an understanding of real numbers by using symbolic, graphic, and numeric representations as they solve equations and inequalities. Students will work with rational and radical expressions, equations, and functions build a wide base of experience with rational and irrational

numbers.
