This is a junior level course that focuses on the works of American authors and the historical elements surrounding their literature. There is a strong emphasis on grammar and writing and how they relate to the persuasive essay. Coursework in this class will help to prepare students in taking the state3 mandated TCAP writing assessment. Students taking this course will complete a major research project.
