National School Bus Safety Week

On Monday, October 22, the Bristol Tennessee Board of Education read a proclamation from the Bristol Tennessee City Council designating October 22-26, School Bus Safety Week in the City of Bristol, Tennessee.

The City Council and School Board recognized Kenneth Morrell, the owner of Holston Bus Company, who is retiring this year. According to the proclamation, Mr. Morrell has been providing "safe and dependable bus transportation for students in Bristol Tennessee City Schools since the 1972-1973 school year."

In his words to the Board of Education, Mr. Morrell said, "There are never two days alike. I think my epitaph will be. I've seen it all. I've done it all. I've loved it all."

Thank you, Mr. Morrell, for your more than 45 years of dedicated service to our students!
