Phase One: Facilities
All Vikings required strong, sturdy homes to withstand a potential onslaught from invaders or natural phenomenon. Much like the Vikings of old, our THS Vikings are no different. Though the invaders have changed, in order to maintain a competitive culture across all sports, the need for strong, state-of-the-art facilities has not changed. In order to continue our historic run at competitiveness, THS has recently broken ground and begun construction on a brand new 6,000 square foot Viking Fieldhouse in the historic Stone Castle. This new fieldhouse is intended to update the Castle for the 21st Century.
The building will feature:
¨ Home and away dressing rooms for football
¨ Dressing rooms for the girls’ and boys’ soccer teams
¨ A conference room for meetings
¨ A training room that will enhance and ease the treatment of injured athletes
¨ A coaching office designed specifically to meet the needs of our coaching staffs
As with all improvement projects, this new building does come with a price tag. However, a local benefactor has given a generous donation of $500,000 in order to see this building come into completion; they have challenged the Viking Community with matching or exceeding this donation. The Stone Castle is not just an athletic facility; it is a historic landmark that is as iconic to Bristol as the Bristol Sign. Thus, it is crucial that we maintain an atmosphere of community and competitive spirit when we call on all Bristolians and THS Vikings to assist us in accepting and conquering this individual’s challenge.
Etch Your Name in Viking History
Donations at any level are accepted, but the following levels will allow individuals to have their names carved into our Historic Stone Castle. Naming rights for rooms within the Viking Field House*:
$200,000 for Home Locker Room
$100,000 for Visitor/Soccer Locker Room
$50,000 for Training Room
$25,000 for Conference Room
Donations at the following levels will allow individuals to have their names carved into our Historic Stone Castle by way of a special plaque located on the side of our brand new, state-of-the-art Viking Fieldhouse:
Head Coach: $100,000 – UP
Assistant Coach: $50,000 – $99,999
Team Captain: $10,000 – $49,999
Team Manager: $5,000 – $9,999
Grounds Crew: $2,000 – $4,999
