Return to School Protocol: Student Illness

Another critical element of preventing the spread of COVID-19 is that we ensure students and staff who are ill, test positive for COVID-19, or have been exposed to the virus follow the appropriate procedures regarding when it is safe to return to school. The COVID-19 Return to School Protocol outlines the procedures we are following per the Tennessee Department of Health and Tennessee Department of Education. Returning Student Information Update Form

Why is it critical for parents to complete the Returning Student Information Update Form? Without updated information, your child's school may not ...

  •  be able to contact you in the event of an emergency with your child.
  •  have your child's latest medical information on file.

If your child was enrolled in a BTCS school last school year and you have not completed this process for 2020-2021, please go the Returning Student Information Update page to update your child's information. If you are unable to complete the process online, please contact your child's school for assistance.
