Program Summary

The Engineering program of study is designed to allow students to learn the engineering design process using a hands-on approach through various design challenges. Students will explore the various fields of engineering throughout their course work with projects focused on electrical, mechanical, structural, fluid dynamics, aeronautics, etc., depending on the course. Students work on skills in design through an online CAD program and can even receive an industry certification in Dremel-3D printing.

I incorporate the drawings from the CAD file, and then I dimension it out and send it to the shop so they can build the part for the machine. Ms. Givney at THS helped me get started into CAD and helped with my skills. I started off 3D printing.
