Thank you for your interest in employment with Bristol Tennessee City Schools. We are excited to announce that we have transitioned to an upgraded application system, TalentEd. We hope you will find the system more user friendly and informative to your career search.

Tips to consider as you complete your application for employment: 

  • If you have previously applied with the district (prior to April 11, 2022), you must complete a new application in TalentEd. Once your new application is complete, you can log into the system to update it and apply for future openings.
  • We communicate primarily through email with our candidates. Please make sure your email address is current and one you check regularly.
  • Please make sure your application is fully complete before you submit it for consideration. We will not consider applications that do not meet this requirement.
  • "Certified" applications should be completed for any position that requires a teaching license. "Classified" applications should be used when applying for positions that do not require a teaching license.

Substitute Teacher Positions

All substitute teachers applicants must complete an online application to be considered for an interview. Substitute teachers are hired periodically throughout the school year based on current school system needs. When applying for a substitute position, you should complete the "Classified" application.
