Kay Ward

Kay Ward serves as community outreach coordinator. Kay develops, updates, and implements policies and procedures for the Community Resource Center (CRC). She works to continue existing community partnerships, as well as attempts to expand CRC services through the acquisition of new community partners. She communicates regularly with teachers, school counselors, and administrators to identify families that need community services, coordinates those services, and keeps accurate records of BTCS families served. She has also begun to set the organizational wheels in motion for the Teacher/Staff Resource Center by identifying needs through a system-wide survey, soliciting community and businesses to supply and maintain the center, and visiting similar CRC models. Ms. Ward's office is located in the CRC and she can be contacted at or (423) 652-9251.
